Position Summary:

Within the Transformation Management Office (TMO) of Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD), this position will be accountable for the successful deployment of agile ways of working across Zoetis ensuring consistency of practice with a focus on delivering business value and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy agile as a new way of working across Zoetis enabling us to be more nimble, more business-value focused, and more product oriented
  • Define current state of agile utilization across the enterprise - inventory existing teams, understand engagement models and alignment opportunities, document current tools and practices, understand challenges and roadblocks, etc.
  • Build a roadmap for 2022+ with a future state model defined and year over year goals and metrics
  • Develop a high-level change management and transition plan to drive agile projects to current standards and tools; ensure change management plan includes communications, stakeholder definition and assessment, training, adoption and reinforcement actions, and a measurement plan
  • Coach teams on continuous improvement and development of metrics (quality, delivery rate, etc.) to measure success and areas of opportunity
  • Promote an agile culture through self-directed teams rooted in strong relationships, trust, transparency, and accountability
  • Define a consistent approach for teams to adopt agile methodology and mindset considering application of best practices
  • Identify opportunities to link into Digital Fluency program from a training and reinforcement perspective
  • Implement agile training focused on the cultural, behavioral and leadership aspects of Agile

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required in technology, computer science, business management, or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience working in an agile role (Agile Coach, Product Owner, Scrum Master, etc.) and/or software development role
  • Expert-level knowledge of agile methodologies and practical experience applying a variety of methodologies
  • Related certifications a plus including Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe certification or others
  • Experience leading transformational projects is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
  • Demonstrated mastery of different agile methodologies including practical experience applying such methods
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, especially across different functions and levels of management
  • Strong written and verbal communications, including presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Proven knowledge of agile portfolio and financial management
  • Ability to build successful working relationships with business partners
  • Bias for action and ability to overcome challenges with positive outcomes
  • Proven track record in driving enterprise change(s)
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment
  • Can-do, positive attitude and ability to fail forward
  • Understanding accounting processes a plus
  • Strong proficiency in MS tools (PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS)
